Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha guests on a new song from post-punk band Algiers.

The track called "Irreversible Damage" is available now via digital outlets. You can also watch its accompanying visualizer streaming now on YouTube.

"Irreversible Damage" will appear on the upcoming Algiers album Shook, due out February 24, 2023.

De la Rocha's most frequent studio collaborator in recent years has been Run the Jewels: He guests on the rap duo's past three albums. In 2016, he announced plans to release a solo album alongside the single "Digging for Windows," though the record never materialized. Rage, of course, hasn't released an album since 2000's Renegades.

The "Killing in the Name" rocker may now have time for more collaborations as he continues to rehab his torn Achilles tendon, which he suffered during Rage's reunion tour over the summer. The injury has forced Rage to cancel their European tour this year and their 2023 North American dates.
