West Coast rappers YG, Mozzy and Blxst take a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in new video for "Perfect Timing."
In the Suj-directed visual, YG rocks a sweatshirt that features the face of rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down in front of his Marathan clothing store in Los Angeles in 2019.
"All hunnids blue like Nipsey (Yeah, yeah) / I'm on this marathon for a victory, need some history," YG raps before Mozzy's verse about being "on the road to success."
Meanwhile, LA native Blxst dropped his melodic vocals on the hook, singing, "The timing was perfect / But as humble as I am, I kinda deserve it/ We done got it out the mud and climbed to the surface / If I'ma take the risks, then it's gotta be worth it."
"Perfect Timing" is the title track of YG and Mozzy's first collaborative album, which is expected to arrive later this month. The song follows their street anthem, "Bompton to Oak Park," which dropped back in April.
