Travis Scott celebrated his 30th birthday Friday with a present for his fans: the announcement of Astroworld Festival 2021.
“In November pop out at the fest Astroworld Fest 2021. 2 days this year with an outlandish line up. See u soon," La Flame commented on Instagram. He also dropped a trailer for the festival, which will be held November 5 and 6 at NRG Park in his hometown of Houston, Texas.
After holding the fest in 2018 and 2019, Travis was forced to cancel the 2020 event due to COVID-19. He expressed his frustration about the pandemic in his Instagram post.
"For this bday all i want is rage man. We been locked in a house for sometime now and i been banging my head around trynna to get back to it," Scott continued. “I been wanting to share and experience with all the other like minded chaotic rager like me for some time now.”
The theme for the Astroworld Festival 2021 is “Open Your Eyes to a Whole New Universe.” Scott will headline the event, with the full lineup will be announced later. Migos, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Pharrell, DaBaby, Playboi Carti, Young Dolph and the late Pop Smoke were among the performers at the last festival, in 2019.
