R&B singer Tank has shared an update regarding his health diagnosis after revealing he was slowly losing his hearing and ability to walk a straight line.
In an Instagam video Thursday, the 45-year-old revealed he and Dr. Meyers of Silver Springs, Maryland examined brain scans from an MRI to determine the source of his symptoms.
"We treating it now as a very severe case of vertigo with a little additives here and there," Tank explains, sharing he’s been prescribed "steroids" and something for "dizziness."
He said the MRI also discovered a deviated septum in his nose, which he plans to fix with surgery, adding, "hopefully my vocals will sound better."
"But back to this ear, its actually worse," Tank continues, pointing to his right ear. "I tested lower today, in terms of the things I could hear in this ear. Hopefully, that starts to turn around quickly and i can get back out there and do what I do. I love what I do."
The "Can’t Let It Show" singer said he wants fans to celebrate his music, acting and comedy now before his symptoms become long-term.
"Listen if you like my music, or like my acting or my comedy, say it now. Don’t wait until I’m deaf or in a wheelchair because I can’t walk in a straight line," Tank said. "I want to be able to celebrate and dance right now. Whatever flower it is that you give me, I want to smell that flower now."
Tank went on to share his appreciation for everyone that reached out with their concerns or a few kind words, including fellow R&B singer Omarion.
