Surviving Pantera members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown are reuniting the band for a 2023 tour, Billboard reports.

The outing will mark the first Pantera live shows since the band broke up in 2003.

"We are thrilled to be working with such an iconic band and bringing their music back to the fans," says Peter Pappalardo of Artist Group International, which is booking the North American dates.

No official announcement from the Pantera camp has been made.

Along with vocalist Anselmo and bassist Brown, Pantera featured brothers "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul on guitar and drums, respectively. Dime was murdered on stage in 2004 during a show with his band Damageplan, while Paul died in 2018 of a heart condition.

Billboard reports that it's currently "unclear" who will be playing guitar and drums for the 2023 tour.
