The late Notorious B.I.G. would have turned 50 years old this coming May 21. To honor his legacy, his estate has partnered with Bad Boy, Rhino and Atlantic Records for a year-long campaign titled “Sky’s The Limit: A Year Celebrating the Legacy of The Notorious B.I.G.”

The celebration will begin March 25, 2022, the 25th anniversary of the release of Biggie’s second album, Life After Death, with a series of online events. The album will also be released as a super deluxe box set on June 10. It will include eight LPs and a booklet featuring with rare photos of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member.

Life After Death was released 16 days after the iconic rapper was fatally shot on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles at the age of 25. The album achieved RIAA-certified Diamond status and is now 11 times Platinum. It includes the number-one hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems,” featuring Diddy, Mase and Kelly Price.

The box set will also feature 12-inch versions of “Hypnotize,” “Mo Money Mo Problems,” “Sky’s The Limit, and “Nasty Boy.” You can pre-order the set now on The Notorious B.I.G. website.
