New Sublime live album '$5 at the Door' announced

Surfdog Records

A new live Sublime album will be released April 21.

Titled $5 at the Door, the set captures Bradley Nowell and company's 1994 concert at the Tressel Tavern in Everett, Washington.

"We were so excited when we unearthed this tape from the 1994 Everett, Washington, show," says Scott Seine of Surfdog Records. "What made this even more special is the fact that there was only a left and right channel, straight from the mixing board, so there was no way for any fixes or manipulation to the performance even if someone wanted to. This show is raw, authentic and true Sublime."

If you're looking for a way to, ahem, enhance your $5 at the Door listening experience, Sublime now has an official cannabis line called Reefers by Sublime. For more info, visit ReefersbySublime.com.

Meanwhile, a Sublime biopic is also in the works. Last September, it was announced that the movie will be directed by Francis Lawrence, who helmed the Hunger Games movies Catching Fire and the two-part Mockingjay.
