Bad Wolves have premiered their first song with new lead singer Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz.

The tune is called "Lifeline," and is the lead single from the upcoming new Bad Wolves album Dear Monsters, due out October 29.

"Lifeline" arrives amid a legal battle between Bad Wolves and their former frontman Tommy Vext, who left the band earlier this year in January. In July, Vext sued Allen Kovac, the CEO of Bad Wolves' record label, Better Noise Music, claiming that Kovac forced him out of the band due to his political beliefs, including his support for former President Donald Trump and his criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement. He also accuses Kovac of using racial slurs in conversations with him.

Kovac denied Vext's claims as "categorically false," and Better Noise later countersued Vext for copyright infringement.

In a new statement posted over the weekend, Bad Wolves say, "It's unfortunate we must bear witness to Tommy Vext's never-ending temper tantrums on social media, filled with fraudulent claims and sad attempts to defame members of our band and our team."

"The truth is that Tommy was abusive -- both emotionally and physically -- while in the band, and he continues to be abusive since quitting the group," the statement continued. "He has childishly asserted many falsehoods. Refuting them all would be a waste of time and divert our energy from making music, which is our priority. "

Here's the Dear Monsters track list:

"Sacred Kiss"
"Never Be the Same"
"Lifeline"
"Wildfire"
"Comatose"
"Gone"
"On the Case"
"If Tomorrow Never Comes"
"Springfield Summer"
"House of Cards"
"Classical"
"In the Middle"
