My Chemical Romance has postponed the band's upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand to 2023.

In an Instagram post, the "Helena" rockers write that the delay is "due to the uncertainty regarding international border restrictions and indoor venue capacity limits" stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The dates, which were originally announced as the first shows on MCR's worldwide reunion tour for 2020 before getting postponed to 2022, will now kick off in March 2023.

That reunion tour is now set to launch in the U.K. in May 2022. The U.S. leg, which was originally scheduled for the fall of 2020, will start in August 2022.

My Chemical Romance had been broken up for over six years when they announced their reunion on Halloween 2019. They made their official return to the live stage in December 2019 for a one-off show in Los Angeles, but haven't been able to play again due to the pandemic.
