Motionless in White is active on the charts with the band's latest single, "Masterpiece."

The track, which appears on the new MiW album Scoring the End of the World, jumps to #6 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart this week. Despite being a regular at rock radio since their first appearance on Mainstream Rock Airplay in 2013, the Pennsylvania metallers have never before had a top-10 hit.

Speaking with ABC Audio as "Masterpiece" was climbing the chart, frontman Chris "Motionless" Cerulli reflected on what a top-10 single would mean for him and the band.

"To have a top-10 just feels like, at this point, just something that we've been chasing a little bit that we would love to have, essentially, on our wall, you know?" Cerulli shared. "Like, a plaque on the wall that feels like a really cool accomplishment that is shared with the fans, because they're the ones that ultimately put you there."

Getting radio airplay in general, Cerulli feels, has helped Motionless "expand the group of fans" and "show our art to a wider spectrum of people."

Cerulli also hopes that having a top-10 single will prove to be a benchmark in the career trajectory of Motionless in White, one on which the band will continue to build.

"It's a cool moment to just look at the progression of the band and say, 'We're still growing,'" he said. "It's more a memento and a statement of where we're at in time, to look back on later."

In addition to celebrating a career first, Motionless in White is also preparing for the second leg of the Trinity of Terror tour with Black Veil Brides and Ice Nine Kills, kicking off September 3 in Omaha, Nebraska.
