
The 2021 BET Awards is coming back this month with a star-studded showcase and performances from Moneybagg Yo, City Girls, Migos, H.E.R. and more.
Moneybagg will make his award show debut in front of a live audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, along with a range of R&B and hip-hop artists. Other performers include Andra Day, Lil Durk,Roddy Ricch, Tyler, The Creator, Kirk Franklin, Lil Baby, DJ Khaled, and Heaux Tales singer Jazmine Sullivan.
Up-and-coming vocalists hitting the BET Amplified Stage this year include Tone Stith, who recently dropped his FWM EP, and Bree Runway, who teamed up with Missy Elliot on her single, "ATM."
"As we return LIVE with culture's biggest night, this year's show marks many firsts–including the highest number of performers in 21 years of BET Awards, and viewers can expect several surprise moments," said Connie Orlando, BET's EVP of specials, music programming & music strategy in a statement. "Some of today's hottest talent will join us for our return to LA for an unforgettable night celebrating Black excellence."
As previously reported, actress Taraji P. Henson will keep viewers laughing as host of the BET Awards this year, where Queen Latifah will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. With seven nominations each, Megan Thee Stallion or DaBaby could take home the most awards of the night.
