Metro Boomin's new album, Heroes & Villains, is sitting atop the Billboard 200.
According to Luminate, the project earned 185,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending December 8, mainly from streams. It's now the producer's third #1 hit on the music chart, following Savage Mode II, his joint effort with 21 Savage, in 2020 and Not All Heroes Wear Capes in 2018.
Heroes & Villains also marks Metro Boomin's seventh effort to secure a spot on the list and the fifth to make its way into the top 10. Aside from the aforementioned chart-toppers, Double or Nothing, a collaborative set with Big Sean, hit #6 in 2017, the same year Without Warning, his project with 21 Savage and Offset, landed at #4.
Heroes & Villains dropped Friday after a few sample-clearance-related delays. The star-studded project features the likes of frequent collaborator 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, Future, Chris Brown, Gunna, Don Toliver, John Legend, Travis Scott, the late Takeoff, Young Thung, The Weeknd and actor Morgan Freeman.
