A diverse lineup of hard rock, alternative and metal artists have come together to record a cover of The Beatles' "Come Together" to benefit the people of Ukraine amid the Russian invasion.
Among the artists involved in the cover, titled "Come Together (We Will Stop You)," are members of Rammstein, Faith No More, Filter, Gravity Kills, Stabbing Westward, Pigface, Basement Jaxx, Agnostic Front and many more.
One-hundred-percent of the proceeds from the cover, which you can purchase via the Bandcamp page of COP Records, will be donated to UNICEF, and the minimum donation is just one dollar.
The cover was produced by John Fryer, who's worked with Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins and others. In a statement, he says, "I’m shocked, stunned, dismayed, angry, horrified and saddened by the situation in Ukraine. I don’t how one man’s insane ego can cause this much death and destruction.”
"The number one goal for “Come Together (We Will Stop You)” is to directly and quickly help the people who need it the most," the organizers say.
