If it hadn't been for Christine McVie, we might not have Tool.

In a tweet paying tribute to the late Fleetwood Mac member, Maynard James Keenan recalls how his school bus driver from kindergarten to eighth grade would always play an 8-track of the "Go Your Own Way" band's iconic 1977 album Rumours.

"That album and her voice is part of my DNA," Keenan shares. "RIP #ChristineMcvie"

McVie passed away Wednesday at age 79. Other artists who have shared tributes include HAIM, Paramore's Hayley Williams and Garbage.
