Mastodon bites off "More Than I Could Chew" with new video for 'Hushed and Grim' song

Per Ole Hagen/Redferns

Mastodon has premiered the video for "More Than I Could Chew," a track off the band's latest album, Hushed and Grim.

The clip is maybe best described as a combination of "Black Hole Sun" and the Bible, with Mastodon using the aesthetics of the classic Soundgarden video with their own spin on the classic Garden of Eden tale.

You can watch the "More Than I Could Chew" video streaming now on YouTube.

Hushed and Grim, the eighth Mastodon album, was released last October. It also includes the singles "Teardrinker" and "Peace and Tranquility."

Mastodon will hit the road in continued support of Hushed and Grim on a tour with Ghost launching in August.
