Machine Gun Kelly has made Time magazine's 2022 Time100 Next list.

The annual ranking highlights "100 of the world's rising stars, who are shaping the future of business, entertainment, sports, politics, health, science and activism, and more."

As part of MGK's inclusion, the pop punk queen herself, Avril Lavigne, has written a piece in tribute of the 32-year-old "Bloody Valentine" rocker.

"He's grown in the most authentic way, starting as a rapper and evolving into one of the biggest rock stars in the world," Lavigne writes of Kelly. "I have a lot of respect for him and how thoughtful he is with his craft."

"He's constantly raising the bar for himself and for the world around him," the "Sk8er Boi" artist adds. "That attitude can inspire a new generation."

The 2022 Time100 Next list also includes FINNEAS, who's tribute is written by singer-songwriter and Eddie Vedder solo band member Glen Hansard, and FKA Twigs, who's honored by Courtney Love.
