(NEW YORK) -- Have gifts to ship that you want to arrive by Christmas? Then taking a trip to the post office might be in your future!
Each year, we spend time sweating over getting holiday gifts out in time and worrying about shipping delays -- and if you've held off, now is the time to box up those presents and get them shipped.
This year, experts have warned of possible shortages and delays on getting everything from toys to artificial Christmas trees due to COVID-related supply chain issues, as well as reports of slower shipping service.
Thankfully, some stores are taking part in Free Shipping Day on Tues., Dec. 14 and are ensuring gifts will arrive in time for the holidays. And the major shipping services have released their recommended ship-by dates in order for packages to arrive on or before the Christmas holiday. The overall advice: The earlier you send, the better, and don't delay any longer.
