Lamb of God's Art Cruz playing with 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' house band next week

Lamb of God's Art Cruz will be appearing on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers next week as the guest drummer of the show's house 8G Band.

Cruz will man the kit for the group, which is led by Fred Armisen, on July 25-28.

"Mind blown," Cruz says. "Thankful for the opportunity." 

Late Night has often recruited drummers from the rock and metal world to sit in with the 8G Band, including Pearl Jam's Matt Cameron, Mastodon's Brann Dailor, The Black Keys' Patrick Carney and Tool's Danny Carey.

Meanwhile, Lamb of God is gearing up to release a new album, Omens, on October 7. They'll launch a U.S. tour in support of the record in September.
