The NBA playoffs: where Jimmy Eat World happens.
The Mesa, Arizona-born rockers performing during halftime -- one might even say "The Middle" -- of Game 1 in the upcoming Round 2 series between their beloved hometown Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets.
As they note on a tweet, the halftime set will mark Jimmy Eat World's first live performance since December 2019.
The game tips off Monday night at 10 p.m. ET on TNT.
Earlier this year, Jimmy Eat World played a number of streaming concerts featuring front-to-back performances of three different albums, including their latest effort, 2019's Surviving.
