Saweetie's highly anticipated album, Pretty B**** Music, comes out this Friday.

The "B" stands for bossy, "I" for independent, "T" for toughness, "C" for creative, and "H" for hyphy, a nod to her hometown in Bay Area, California.

In her cover story for Complex, Saweetie says fans can expect "slaps on slaps" on her debut album, which she began working on pre-pandemic. The 26-year-old credits the COVID-19 quarantine for leading her to focus on her creativity by making new songs and experimenting with new rap styles.

"When I began to be overworked, my spirit of creativity died, but now I feel like, in quarantine, I was able to recharge," Saweetie says. "Now I'm passionate, and I feel like I have a clear vision of what I want to do."

Pretty B**** Music will feature Saweetie's catchy hooks and upbeat anthems like "Fast (Motion)," "Back to the Streets" with Jhené Aiko, her gold-certified hit "Best Friend" with Doja Cat, and her platinum-certified hit "Tap In." It will also feature production from Timbaland, Danja and Murda Beatz

Meanwhile, Saweetie is up for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the 2021 BET Awards, airing live from Los Angeles on Sunday, June 27, at 8 p.m. ET.
