Former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook has offered a preview of his upcoming solo project, Hook.

In an Instagram post, Hook shares a clip of a new song that he's recorded. "A little taste," he writes in the caption. "2023 see you on the boat!"

Last week, it was announced that Hook would be debuting his namesake band on the 2023 ShipRocked concert cruise, taking place January 22-28.

Hook played in FFDP from 2009 to 2020. He was replaced by Andy James.

Five Finger Death Punch is set to release a new album, AfterLife, on August 19.
