Drowning Pool will be letting the music hit your ears with a new album called Strike a Nerve.

The record -- the seventh studio effort from the "Bodies" rockers -- will be Drowning Pool's first with new label UMe/T-Boy.

"I don't want to be one of those guys who spouts off about Strike a Nerve being the greatest record we've ever made, but I'm looking forward to letting everyone who hears it have that debate," says bassist Stevie Benton. "What I will say is that we put every bit of our heart and soul into these songs and hope everyone digs the album as much as we do."

No release date for Strike a Nerve was announced, but Drowning Pool plans to play new material on the band's upcoming Brothers in Arms tour, which kicks off in March.

Drowning Pool's most recent album is 2016's Hellelujah. Last year, they released a vinyl reissue of their 2001 debut Sinner, which spawned the single "Bodies."
