Dr. Dre's fans have been begging for new music since his 2015 Compton album, and now the iconic rapper/producer is delivering in an unconventional way.

Dre is dropping a new track in the new Grand Theft Auto video game, GTA Online: The Contract, coming out on December 15. He's also a character in the game, along with Anderson .Paak, who is signed to Dre's Aftermath Entertainment label.

In the trailer, when Dre arrives at the studio, Paak asks, "What you gonna do now?"

Dre responds, "What I'm always trying do, trying to work. Are you with me?"

Paak enthusiastically replies, "Yes Lord."

Then we see the duo recording and hear a snippet of the song which also features Snoop Dogg.

The story line follows Dre hoping to find his lost cell phone containing unreleased music.

A GTA statement reads,“Get ready for a wild and hilarious ride through Los Santos, from the mean streets of Franklin Clinton's old neighborhood to the hottest parties in the city, from debaucherous mansions to the offices of the FIB and everywhere in between as you join Franklin, expert hacker Imani, Chop the Dog, and crew to secure Dr. Dre’s precious tracks and return them to their rightful owner.”
