We may have spent the last year wearing face coverings, but Corey Taylor is still very excited about his next Slipknot mask.

In an interview with Steve-O's Wild Ride! podcast, Taylor teases that the next iteration of his ever-changing mask will "scare kids."

"It's so gnarly, dude," Taylor says, adding that his wife Alicia was "freaked out" by the mask.

"She won't look at it, and she loves crazy s*** like that," he shares. "She's just, like, 'That's really bothering me, you need to put that picture away.'"

Of course, new Slipknot masks means new Slipknot music. While nothing concrete has been announced, percussionist Clown revealed last November that the group has started writing new material to follow 2019's We Are Not Your Kind.
