Bring Me the Horizon, CHVRCHES among 2022 'NME' Awards winners

Bring Me the Horizon and CHVRCHES were among the winners at the 2022 NME Awards, which the U.K. publication held Wednesday in London.

The "DiE4u" rockers were named the Best Band from the U.K., while the "He Said She Said" trio took home the Best Song by a U.K. Artist prize for their Robert Smith collaboration, "How Not to Drown."

Horizon and CHVRCHES also performed at the ceremony, and the latter was joined by Smith for a live renditions of "How Not to Drown" and The Cure's "Just Like Heaven." Both sets featured tributes to Ukraine in support of the country as it's being invaded by Russia.

Other NME Award winners include Lorde's "Solar Power" for Best Song in the World, Wolf Alice for Best Festival Headliner, Foals' "Wake Me Up" for Best Music Video, and Alana Haim's Licorice Pizza performance for Best Film Actor.

Additionally, Jack Antonoff was honored with the previously announced Songwriter Award.
