Grammy winner T-Pain is known for his innovative hits including “Blame It (On the Alcohol)” with Jamie Foxx, and although he’s a wiz in the studio, he’s laughing at himself for not being up on social media and missing celebrity DMs for two years.

Viola Davis, Fergie, Diplo and many more stars have hit him up on Instagram without a response, because he never saw the messages, until Wednesday night.

"I swear!! I'm just now seeing all these messages and mentions TODAY!!!!,” the rapper/producer commented on IG. “How do I super apologize? Press conference? Town hall meeting? I'm dumb…I’m stupid."

T-Pain says after checking his DMs in the past and seeing countless jokes about his hits “Buy U a Drank" and “Bartender," he was turned off, calling it “a wasteland,” and he tuned out. Then his social media manager schooled him about missing important messages from certified stars.

"I've been accidentally straight up ignoring all these people for like 2 years," T-Pain continued. "I thought DMs are supposed to just show in the normal folder and you don't have to go digging for these. I apologize to everybody on this list and the hundreds of others I couldn't fit in this video. These are just the ones I haven't checked or replied to."

He says he specifically apologized to Davis, and has hit up all the people who needed immediate responses.

The “Can’t Believe It” hitmaker did receive some sympathy. Ashanti commented, "Omg I literally just did the same exact thing like two days ago."

T-Pain admits “this is pretty funny,” and plans to go on a “DM-a-thon” to catch up.
