'Billboard' Music Awards: Rolling Stones, Twenty One Pilots among early winners

The Rolling Stones were among the early winners of Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The Stones' No Filter tour was nominated for both Top Tour and Top Rock Tour, winning both and beating out fellow double nominees Genesis for their The Last Domino? farewell trek, and Green Day for the Hella Mega tour with Fall Out Boy and WeezerThe Eagles' Hotel California tour also received a Top Tour nod.

The Stones celebrated their two early wins on Twitter and via their Instagram Story, where they shared the good news alongside three confetti cannon emojis. 

Twenty One Pilots also made waves among the early winners, collecting the trophy for Top Rock Album for their effort Scaled and Icy.   They were pitted against AJR's OK Orchestra,  Coldplay's Music of the Spheres, Imagine Dragons' Mercury – Act 1 and John Mayer's Sob Rock.

Italian rockers Måneskin also scored an early victory, taking home Top Rock Song for their hit "Beggin."  They beat out Elle King and Miranda Lambert's "Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)," Coldplay and BTS' "My Universe," Imagine Dragons' "Follow You" and The Anxiety: Willow & Tyler Cole "Meet Me at Our Spot."
