Beartooth has announced a new graphic novel titled The Journey Below.
Described as a prequel to the band's just-released album Below, the book takes place in a world where "the cold forces of the corporate world outlawed rock."
"Storytelling has always been something we've wanted to dive into as a band," says bassist Oshie Bichar. "Our goal is to build a universe full of adventure for Beartooth fans to explore."
The Journey Below is due out this fall. It'll be published by Z2 Comics, which has worked with artists including Skillet, Machine Gun Kelly, Black Veil Brides' Andy Biersack and Alter Bridge.
Below, the fourth Beartooth album, just dropped last Friday. Earlier this week, Beartooth announced a streaming event titled The Journey Below, during which they'll be performing songs from the new record for the first time.
