AWOLNATION is setting "Sail" for a covers album.

Frontman Aaron Bruno announced the project in an Instagram post, writing that it's something he'd "always wanted to do."

"I reached out to different artists and friends to sing on it, and most agreed to join," Bruno says, adding that the collection is "full of fun and surprises."

Bruno didn't reveal the release date for the covers record, but did share that its first single is set to drop sometime this month. He adds that it'll be followed by a new, original AWOLNATION record.

Last fall, Bruno teased that he planned to release two AWOLNATION albums in 2022. The outfit's most recent record is 2020's Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders.
