Apocalyptica has released a new EP called Metal Classic, Classic Metal.
The three-track collection features "metallized reprises of classical pieces," including previously released renditions of French composer Maurice Ravel's "Boléro" and Beethoven's famed "Symphony No. 5," as well as a new version of Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblebee."

Metal Classic, Classic Metal follows Apocalyptica's 2020 album Cell-0. Since then, the cello metallers have released a number of one-off singles, including "Talk to Me" featuring Halestorm's Lzzy Hale, "I'll Get Through It" featuring Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler and a cover of Cream's "White Room" featuring Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix.
