Anthrax bassist Frank Bello has announced his debut solo EP.

The set is titled Then I'm Gone and will be released on 12-inch vinyl November 4. It includes three songs, as well as music-accompanied excerpts read by Bello from his 2021 memoir, Fathers, Brothers, and Sons: Surviving Anguish, Abandonment, and Anthrax.

"I revisited some really dark times in my life when I was writing my book, and writing these songs was the result of reliving them," Bello says.

"Music has always been a great outlet for me as a coping mechanism," he adds. "I felt it was a good time to put out these songs for people who connected with the book and maybe some who haven't yet."

You can check out a trailer for the EP now via YouTube.

Anthrax, meanwhile, will release a new live album, XL, on July 15. They launch a co-headlining tour with Black Label Society July 26 in Phoenix.
