Shad "Bow Wow" Moss woke up with the money on his mind this morning.

The "My Pain" rapper took to Twitter Monday to boast about collecting a "lot of money" this week, but his fans seemed more interested in his next solo album.

"Yes, working on [an] album," Bow tweeted in response to a fan. "I'm thinking summer [or] fall. We locked in. No distractions." In response to another fan, who asked about a sequel to his 2005 album, Wanted, Bow said, "you can’t compare my previous albums to this."

"[I’m] 34 now, [with] two kids. So much pain and confusion I’ve gone through. This content is next level and DARK," Bow Wow continues. "It’s my first rap ALBUM. I been dying to make it, but I was a youngn then."

The rapper formerly known as Lil’ Bow Wow announced Before 30 earlier this year as his final solo album.

In other news, Bow Wow went viral over the weekend for his decades-long beef with the former Lil' Romeo. Fans believed things were reigniting after Romeo hinted at doing a Verzuz battle together during an episode of The Mix last week.

On Saturday, Bow Wow tweeted, "You sure you want this smoke? I see you calling me out. You sure this what you want to do? #verzuz."

By Sunday, Romeo took to Instagram to share a video of himself calling Bow to clear things up about their "real-life friendship" and schedule a meet-up in Los Angeles.

"The industry put us against each other for too long; it’s time to celebrate each other, my brother. Life is short," Romeo wrote in the caption.
