Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith will be displaying his visual artwork at the upcoming Summerfest and BeachLife festivals.
The pieces will be part of the Punk Rock & Paintbrushes exhibit, which showcases the "intersection of music and art" by highlighting "musicians' creativity in a whole new light, as expressed through their original artwork."
BeachLife takes place May 5-7 in Redondo Beach, California, and will be headlined by The Black Keys, The Black Crowes and Gwen Stefani. Summerfest will be held June 22-24, June 29 to July 1 and July 6-8, and features headliners Imagine Dragons, AJR and Dave Matthews Band.
Smith debuted his first art collection in 2015, and has displayed his work in several galleries and art shows over the years.
As for his day job, Smith will hit the road with the Chili Peppers on a U.S. tour in April. They'll be supporting their two 2022 albums, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen.
