Rapper Blueface arrested in Las Vegas for attempted murder

Rapper Blueface was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday on attempted murder charges.

In a statement obtained by ABC News, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department confirmed that Blueface, whose full name is Johnathan Porter, was arrested on charges in connection to a shooting that took place on October 8, 2022 in the 6300 block of Vegas' Windy Road.

LVMPD says the 25-year-old rapper will be booked at the Clark County Detention Center "on warrants for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at/into an occupied structure."

Blueface is best known for his 2018 hit “Thotiana,” which hit number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. Cardi B and YG also made remixes of the popular track.
