Houston's hottest artist, Megan Thee Stallion, will perform at the grand opening of the city's newest music venue.
The "Savage" rapper will hit the stage on Friday, December 3, at the 713 Music Hall, named after H-Town's primary area code.
"It's always special to come back home and perform in front of my OG hotties," the three-time Grammy winner said Thursday in a statement. "I can't wait to take the stage and celebrate the grand opening of 713 Music Hall. It's going to be unforgettable!"
Tickets for the show will go on sale Monday, November 8, at 10 a.m. CT at 713MusicHall.com. The 5,000-capacity concert venue is expected to host 100 events annually.
Megan also announced Thursday that she will graduate on December 11 with a bachelor's degree in health administration from Texas Southern University, and she's planning a big party.
This has been an extraordinary week for the 26-year-old entertainer. As previously reported, on Tuesday, she was named as one of Glamour magazine's Women of the Year. She will be honored on Monday, November 8, in a special ceremony at the Rainbow Room in New York City.
Last week, Megan received three American Music Awards nominations: for Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Hip-Hop Album for Good News, and Favorite Trending Song for "Body." The 2021 American Music Awards will take place Sunday, November 21, at 8 p.m. ET. The ceremony will broadcast live on ABC.
