Twenty One Pilots have shared behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot for their new single, "Shy Away."
The clip breaks down how the colorful video came to be, including an elaborate, possibly entirely made-up story about why Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun's ski masks are all ripped up.
We also get a preview of what Twenty One Pilots would sound like as a grunge band, thanks to Joseph doing his best yarl while singing Foo Fighters' "My Hero" between takes.

"Shy Away" is the lead single from the upcoming new Twenty One Pilots album Scaled and Icy, due out May 21. The duo will celebrate the album's release with a streaming concert that same day.
