Is Slayer's Kerry King regretting the band's decision to call it quits?
In a video congratulating the band Machine Head on their 30th anniversary, King declares that the "Raining Blood" legends "quit too early."
"I hear congratulations are in order for my friends in Machine Head," King says in the video. "Apparently, it's been 30 years, which is quite an achievement."
"Not a lot of bands get [to 30 years]," he continues. "[Slayer] did, but we quit too early. F*** us, I know. F*** me! I hate f***ing not playing."
Slayer, of course, played their final show in November 2019 following a year-long farewell tour. Band members have been fairly quiet since that concert, though Slayer's early record label Metal Blade Records just announced a reissue campaign for the group's first four releases.
