Swizz Beatz is setting the record straight on that Justin Timberlake comment he made during his Verzuz battle against Timbaland.
"I was just having fun," Swizz said while recapping the event on Instagram Live. "I don’t got no problem with JT. I don’t got a problem with nobody. We’re just having fun. It’s called 'Verzuz.'"
Swizz called out the "Can't Stop the Feeling" singer during Sunday's Verzuz, saying, "You took from the black culture, you give to the black culture. Come to Verzuz and be a part of the black culture."
Timbaland brought up the comment during their recap, sharing that Beatz "went a little hard" on Timberlake, to which Beatz laughed, "It's hip-hop.”
He then added a shout-out to the former NSYNC member, saying, "We can’t wait to get you on stage having fun, because you deserve it, too.”
