 R. Kelly's case is moving ahead to trial and, with jury selection about to get underway, the rapper has submitted his list of questions he wants potential jurors to answer.

Radar Online reports that the "Bump n' Grind" artist -- birth name Robert Sylvester Kelly -- directed his attorneys to question individuals about their sexual history.  The list includes asking about whether or not a potential juror has been accused of sexual assault or whether they've tested positive for a sexually transmitted illness.

The outlet, which obtained copies o the court documents, reports that Kelly's attorneys hope to select for the jury individuals who might sympathize with the rapper.

Kelly's trial gets underway August 9, where he faces numerous federal charges, including sex crimes, kidnapping and more.  The Grammy winner, who's currently in custody at Chicago's Metropolitan Correctional Center, could be sentenced up to 20 years in jail.
