Kehlani had big plans to celebrate her lesbian identity for Pride Month this year. But then on Wednesday, the singer tweeted a sad face emoji to share her disappointment in not participating in a parade.

"I just knew I was [going to] be acting a fool at somebody’s Pride parade this year," Kehlani wrote.

Instead, Kehlani will be celebrating Pride month by co-hosting a special program with TikTok star Larray, according to PeopleTitled Pride On! Kehlani & Larray's Excellent Pride Ride, it'll air June 4th on Facebook Watch and Messenger’s Watch Together.

According to a release, Kehlani and Larray "will travel around Los Angeles in a fabulously-decorated double-decker bus to see how people are celebrating Pride Month this year in lieu of the usual festivities, all while exploring the magic and beauty when we all come together."

Kehlani has been more than open about her sexuality since she revealed she was a lesbian in a viral TikTok video in April. Despite previously identifying as queer for years, the 25-year-old mother said, "I finally know I'm a lesbian."

Kehlani shares a 2-year-old daughter, Adeya Nomi, with her friend, guitarist Javie Young-White.
